Lindsey & Cody

May 5th, 2012

Their relationship began discussing the fictitious life a cheese grater who came alive at night. If there are two people meant to be together, it’s these two…I mean, a cheese grater!? Lindsey & Cody are quirky, fun, kind, amazing people and they are to be married later this year. I could not be more happy for them and felt so honored to capture these engagement photos during my time in LA a while back. We didn’t have much time to make this session happen (weather, illness, and of course, the NCAA final four), but I think we caught the best 7 minutes of the day : )

Love you guys so much!

Can’t wait for October!!

Happy Saturday!

Family

April 6th, 2012

Last weekend Scott and I were in Los Angeles to celebrate the engagement of my wonderful sister, Lindsey, and her amazing fiance, Cody. It was a lovely weekend and Scott and I both felt so fortunate to be able to share in such a happy occasion. It’s nice to know that even though we fall asleep facing different oceans, we are never so far that we can’t be a part of the important things, the things that really matter. Wouldn’t have missed it.

Happy Friday!

End Hibernation.

April 6th, 2012

I feel like I owe an explanation for by absence, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin. So, let’s just consider that my winter hibernation. Spring is a much lovelier season anyway : )

Looking forward to getting back into this! Have a lovely weekend : )

Happy Friday!

Oh, for feet’s sake!

January 25th, 2012

Clever title, no? Yeah, I was pretty proud of myself after coming up with that one : )

Annnnyways, I was looking through my instagram photos the other day on this pretty cool online instagram viewing gallery, and I noticed I have a lot of pictures of my feet.  I guess I like my feet, or at least the shoes they are in :) After looking through all of them, I thought it would be kind of fun to share some photos as a little trip through shoes, seasons, and time…according to my feet.

Hope you are having a great week!

Bridges

January 15th, 2012

Scott and I took these photos back in December as a Christmas gift for Scott’s dad, but they seemed fitting to share on this chilly winter day.

Happy Sunday!

January 1st

January 2nd, 2012

On January 1st of each new year, I am going to take 10 pictures that capture random tidbits of the day. Eventually, I want to create an album called “January 1st” that will be a collection of the photos from the first day of each year. How cool will that be to look back on? Imagine a decade of January 1st’s. How different each year will be. The weather. The colors. The people. The location. The clothes. What a neat photographic trip through time. Here is January 1st, 2012.

Happy New Year!! Wishing you a truly wonderful year ahead!

Merry Christmas :)

December 25th, 2011

Merry Christmas everyone! Enjoy…

P.S. Please disregard our awkwardness at the midpoint of this song…some guy was oddly standing there and watching us dance :) Special thanks to Lewis & Luke at The Art of Dancing.

Merry Christmas Eve Nuggets!

December 24th, 2011

This is the first Christmas that I will not be spending with my sisters. And the first Christmas in a long time Scott will not be joining in our annual matching PJ photo shoot. Example:

Yeah, we are pretty cool cats.

So, since we will not be able to participate in one of our favorite Christmas traditions, Scott and I thought we would start a new one. With some inspiration from these guys, we give you a little Christmas Eve dancing magic…

We love you Nuggets, and are sad we can’t be with you today, but we hope this brings smiles to your faces and makes you laugh a little…or a lot. : ) LOVE YOU!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Laura & Scott

P.S We are serious, this will be happening every year. So, get used to it. You will eventually see our future children shaking their groove thang too. I’m serious.

P.P.S. By future children, I mean many years from now children. Many years.

P.P.P.S. Oh, we made another for tomorrow…Christmas Day Dancing…stay tuned :)
